Then you need to stop meeting weak women who can't take care of themselves.
I can take care of myself just fine. Have been in the position almost the past 2 years of being the main person looking out for my parents and two youngest siblings.
Having someone to lean onto emotionally is just bonus of a good marriage imo. That partner that will stand by you and have your back when you need them the most. While it was very nice having that with all the stressful stuff I've gone through lately....I would have survived on my own if I needed to.

There's plenty of women on the internet in foreign countries with no baggage. Do you like asian women? Go check it out. I know of three guys (only one well) and each have successful marriages. The guy I know personally is 46 and now has two kids. He's 17 years her senior and they are too cute together.

I understand :) If you knew him you would have said the same thing before. He was very hesitant telling his friends at first. He said he was afraid everyone would judge him and make fun of him/her as a "mail-order bride". But he said he had to decide what made him happy. And if he lost friends then so be it.

Older guy that worked with me at the library I worked at during college had a mail order bride from Russia. His wife was beautiful like a Russian model and he was this chubby guy. She made his life miserable. She made him bring her mother over to the US as well. Once they were married and in the US..his wife racked up a bunch of credit card debt. The wife and her mother would go shopping all day while he was at work.
