I am always amazed at how many nurses smoke and how many tip the scales at 2 bills knowing how badly those two vices serve you.

Well we are all aware of what is bad for us, yet we do it anyway.
I ask the ladies at the dentist office to take a good look at my gums every time I go since I dip. As long as everything continues to look alright I'll keep at it.

Some have more favorable genetics and can hold onto their looks for a few years longer if they take care of themselves, but even those start to decline after about 26.
The Wall is no joke. 30+ doesn't really even register as female for me anymore...but everyone has their own taste, I reckon.

on the flip side of this, I can't imagine anything being more devastating than a guy going bald in his late teens/early 20s
went to HS with a guy and he was horse shoe bald by 20.

Yup.
Not that weird, though. Curves are attractive, but they have a shelf life before gravity takes over.
Hooray for a 24yr old who didn't start to fill in until 21ish. Late bloomers are awesome because they haven't been spoiled into thinking they're special for no reason other than hotness by the attention of the thirsty horde, and had to develop personalities.
Oh and because perky bewbs, obviously.

Slight crinkles around the eyes when I smile. No jowls yet, and neck is still intact. Thank god.

Tough question.
I can think of a lot of women I know who look better now than when they were younger simply because they have a modern hairstyle, fashionable clothing, etc. That kind of shite can dramatically alter your appearance.
Even a few celebrities look better now because their old "look" was ugly 80s hair and blue eyeshadow and mom jeans
