I get Birchbox every month and also get FabFitFun boxes every season. They always send all kinds of different face products (most smaller versions of the product)to try. My medicine cabinet is full of like 20 different face stuff from it.

Birchbox is legit though. $10 a month to try different stuff. Should look into it if you don't get it already.

I get Birchbox & Play! by Sephora. I had to cancel BB for awhile to try to force myself to actually use the stuff! It's like getting a present in the mail every month :)

I use about 75% of the stuff they send. Most of the hair and face stuff they send is always good stuff.

The perfume samples they send are mostly meh. The makeup just depends. It's hit or miss with the makeup. They will send lipsticks in crazy shades. Just got one yesterday....lipstick that was a matte neon hot pink. I mean...great if I ever have an 80s party to go to, but I'll never wear it otherwise

I keep saying I need to do the same but

is why I keep getting it...$10 a month is worth the tiny bit of joy I feel when I see the box in the mail

How much stuff does your face need? That can't be a good thing

Don't worry, he'll know without you having to tell him.

early to mid 20s.

as far as aging....diet/exercise/lifestyle go so far and then you're pretty much at the mercy of genetics.

no amount of magic creams or whatever can overcome cat poo genetics

ETA - I've also seen girls peak in HS and go downhill from there

Whatever age Diane Lane is. I struggle to find a woman who has aged much bettererer than her...aside from my wife and Mrs. Cove.

I don't think you realize how many products women use to look good

And by face stuff I mean:

Cleansers to clean off makeup and properly cleanse face(sleeping in makeup is soo bad for your skin)

Toners...to make sure you wipe off all traces of dirt and makeup

Serums/moisturizers...to help add moisture to your face and keep it looking youthful

Primers...helps your makeup go on more evenly

Moisturizers with Sunscreen....obvious reasons

Exfoliators....scrub away dead skin cells and impurities

Facial masks....treatments to help your skin tone and again...help skin look more youthful

Daycreams....moisturizers light enough to be used during theday....meant to be used under makeup

nightcreams...thicker moisturizers that are meant to be used while you sleep...not to be used under makeup

I'd add Halle Berry to that list as well, at 49 years old

This is true...however you can at least delay the process if you start caring for your skin early on.

I smoked for 9 years (quit when I was 27) and went to tanning beds frequently in my 20s.

My face doesn't show my true age yet. So I'm really hoping I have some good genetics on my side and that it won't just go to crap on me overnight one day

From my experience--the 10's when I was in high school grow into 7's in their 20's, while many of the high school 7's grow into 10's in their 20s. Weird phenomenon.
