Since the brain doesn't stop maturing until your mid-late 20s, I will say 25.

Alcohol should be illegal. It leads to heroin and deviant sexual activities!

16 with a 4.0 gpa. A small notation on your license. That wasthe nerds get laid and it shifts the power dynamic.
18 otherwise.
Not like everyone didn't have a source lined up for alcohol from teens on.
Hell, tabby's downtown would serve ANYONE who could see over the bar.

When I was underage I was talking with a state represenatative about what a fair drinking age should be. He said "son, I'm 47 years old, and as long as they don't make the drinking age 48, I don't care."
Now that I've been of age for many years, I don't care a thing about what the drinking age is unless they change it to one year older than I am.

Has anyone touched on how insane it is that you can't legally drink in college? If I would have gone to college out of high school, I would have been damn near finished by the time I was legally allowed to drink. That's absolutely retarded.

18 sounds good to me.
underage drinking was fun for a little while. Legal drinking just became much more convenient.

Are you really looking for logic and consistency from the government?
14 yr olds are tried as adults. 15/16 to drive.
15-17 to frick
18 for tobacco, voting, contracts, military
21 for alcohol.
I dunno.
