At what age do single women start getting really desperate?

Particularly those who really, really want children.
30? 35? 40?
And how does this desperation manifest itself? Do they get more promiscuous? Do they get crazier? Does a woman ever just shut down the hope machine and accept that they're alone forever?

When she was 22, the future looked bright
But she's nearly 30 now and she's out every night
I see that look in her face, she's got that look in her eye
She's thinking, "How did I get here?" and wondering why
It's sad, but it's true how society says her life is already over
There's nothing to do and there's nothing to say
Until the man of her dreams comes along
Picks her up and puts her over his shoulder
It seems so unlikely in this day and age
She's got an alright job, but it's not a career
Wherever she thinks about it, it brings her to tears
'Cause all she wants is a boyfriend; she gets one-night stands
She's thinking, "How did I get here? I'm doing all that I can"

So both of you are stupid.

I noticed around 35 many started getting more specific about kids and marriage requirements.

40 seems kind of late if they really want kids. I'd say early 30s.

starts before that even...go look up the age of some of the emotional train wrecks that sign up for "Married at first sight"

By 28-30 they start getting serious about finding a husband. If they are unsuccessful by the mid-30s you’ll notice a real change. They are pretty much committed to the idea of being a spinster by 40.

I met my wife around age 26 so probably close to that.

It starts setting in at 35 and then by 40 they will frick fairly easy because they are tired of being single and are hoping for a relationship

For women that want kids pregnancies are considered "high risk" starting at age 35
