All I know is at 37 a viscous hangover can last 3 days now.
I'm older than you and I've never had a hangover and I'm not sure why. I think some wires are crossed in my brain or something.

I was conceived during the Eisenhower administration.
I’ve run at least a 5k every calendar day of 2020.
You tell me when I’ve stopped recovering fast.

I’m 56 and honestly felt good until I hit 50. I’ve always been active outdoors and actually enjoy yard work and washing cars etc. (not so much when it’s this hot.)
Injuries certainly take longer to heal and as another post mentioned, some aches and pains just don’t go away.
If I can offer some advice to especially you younger guys....Stretch.
The wife started preaching the benefits of some simple yoga type stretches several years ago when she noticed I was struggling.
I perform these stretches every morning and try to stretch again after any activity.
This really does make a difference in your quality of life.

I’m 45 and haven’t experienced this yet.

40
Imagine driving down the road in your truck with 150k miles on it and the engine light comes on and it starts knocking. It was that fast for me.

40.
40 is when it sometimes hurts getting out of bed.
We really need to cure old age.

40 is the magic number. I started seeing more grey and less hair. 45 hangover lasts longer and lesser hair. 50 now. Hardly ever drink and looking at a moon pie I add 1-2lbs. Gotta continue to stay active. Stretch more often also.

I’ll be 30 next month and I’ve noticed I bruise way easier than I ever did.
I also started getting heartburn from alcohol totally out of nowhere a few years ago and it’s BRUTAL. Bad enough that I take Prilosec daily since I still drink somewhat regularly.

Those are called “booze bruises”

I was doing great all through my 40s. Leukemia is dragging me down abut. Stuff just doesn't heal right...

It's gradual for most but you don't really notice it. I feel fine at almost 43 but I'd be lying if I said I was the same as I was at 26.

I was in the best shape of my life in my 20’s then again in my early 40’s.
Now in my mid 40’s more things start to hurt or get sore more often.
I’m still in better shape than I should be.
Good genetics

I'm 42 and let's just say I didn't own any sort of medical brace a year ago... I now own six.
Don't feel like healing is any slower but the injuries are much easier now.
Stretching and strength training core muscles make a big difference.
