At what age did your body stop recovering as fast?

I’m in my 30’s and I’d say I’m healthy, not overweight or anything at least.

I’ve noticed that when I get a scrape or cut, it doesn’t go away quite as quickly as it used to. Then I sprained my wrist a few months back and I swear it was bugging me forever, seemed like something that used to go away after a few weeks. I’m guessing this is just a normal part of getting older

Just wait until you hit your late 40s.

All I know is at 37 a viscous hangover can last 3 days now.

I'll be officially in my late 20's this month, and I'd say my body still recoveries very quickly. I do get more and more ailments as the years go on, but they resolve like nothing. I have to stretch before I do anything strenuous, which was never the case as a kid. I have never broken a bone, so I'm waiting for that to drop any day now. I do take longer to recover from drinking.

I’m almost 50. If I sprained my ankle, I’d probably just have it amputated.

I turn 40 next month. I’m still pretty solid at recovering from drinking. I’m sure that’ll change in the next year or two tho. Gonna miss those days...

By the time I’ve walked from the gym back to my car, I’ve fully deconditioned.

Looking back 30’s it started, but once was 40 came I really began to notice it a lot. Hangovers are terrible, soreness last longer.

Did this at 39, and man 6 months later I was still swollen, and it was a good year before I stopped feeling it in the morning. Of course, the dr told me it would have been better to break it.

That’s not getting older that’s from milk with BGH. This stuff is killing us and nobody bats an eye.

Early 30s I learned I couldn't eat/drink whatever I want one night and not pay for it the next morning.

I’m 48 and the only thing I’ve noticed is that my skin gets scratched easier than it used to. If I’m in the woods or in a cutover, I come out with blood down both arms.

I’m 40 and my body is stiffer. I pulled a neck muscle weeks ago and it won’t heal. Every time I sneeze I’m scared of injuring my back.

My dick is stiffer than ever though. Horny like a teenager.

About 40 - the body just doesn't heal like it did before. Probably had more serious gashes before 40 than after but way more scars from the post-40 gashes.

I'm 30, and my body still recovers pretty fast.

Over the last couple of years, though, I've noticed that I am a lot more tired in the evenings. Especially when I drink a little bit. If I drink, it's hard for me to stay awake past 9-10pm. Just 2-3 years ago I could drink and stay out all night.

I’d like to know how well the people with 3 day hangovers take care of themselves??? Are you just an out of shape fat arse? Exercise regularly? Running routine? Activity levels?

At 43, my hangovers tend to be worse prob because I don’t drink near as regularly...but I’m still back to 100% later the next afternoon or esp after a good nights sleep.
