At what age did you stop believing in Santa? (And oldest believer you know?)

I was 5! My jerk cousin told me my mom bought all my presents and kept them in her closet on the top shelf....HE WAS RIGHT!!! I still hate that guy...

I know a 12 year old who still believes. Is that odd or normal? Most kids I know realized he wasn't real by the age of 8-10.

I had my doubts around 8 and the folks outed themselves when I was 9.

I know he's not real but you can't deny the magic of the whole thing. I have some sleigh bells that I go outside and ring on Christmas Eve when it's time for my 4 year old to go to bed. Her little eyes get as big as silver dollars and she high tails it upstairs to her bed! Little runt has been out for an hour now

Good times

My six year old is starting to question it thanks to some a-hole fourth graders who told him Santa wasn’t real.

I imagine we’ve got one more year of believing in Santa until he can’t anymore.

I’m not sure exactly but it was a good while after my friends did. My mom loved that crap and kept tricking me into believing another year. She never considered the psychological damage it was doing to me arguing with peers who were ridiculing me.

I was 9 and now my son is 9 so I told him after other kids in his class told him about it. He was in denial but he is good lol. He will be happy tomorrow morning though!

I was probably 8 or 9. I was a bad kid and snuck out of my room and watched my parents putting all of the Santa gifts under the tree.

I was 12, my mom was a single parent and need me to help her take Santa presents down from the attic for me and my little brother. My kids are 11, 9 and 7 and as wrong as I was brought up I’m trying to keep the magic for as long as I can. I thought my 11 year old knew what’s was up and wasn’t telling us this year until tonight, we did Santa’s cookies and told the elves good bye one last time. The tears were real, for both of us. And I know I have another year of believing. Merry Christmas TDroppings!!!
