Suffered with it for years starting in my 30s. Started taking Prilosec every morning and it vanished instantly. If I don’t take it for even one day it returns. I couldn’t believe how great the Prilosec worked and wish I had known sooner.

I'll be 46 this month and drink like a sailor and eat the spiciest food imaginable and have never had heartburn. Guess I'm just lucky.

You can drink Apple Cider Vinegar daily and never get it. Couple of Tbsp to 8 oz of water. Add honey for taste if needed.

I go on a annual guys trip to Vegas. I’m 33 and a few years ago I noticed after drinking heavily in Vegas, mainly beer I would get terrible heartburn. Now I pop a nexium the day before I drink and it works great.

I think genetics play a factor as well. I’ll eat the spiciest thing I can find on a menu and feel fine while my wife puts a little crystal hot sauce on something and is dying. And I’m 4 years older.

My first week of High School. 9th grade.

Hit me so hard, my eyes were bloodshot red and had to go to the ER.

I don't know.

You got to have a heart for it to burn.

Smoking and drinking probably don't help. Bananas, peanut butter, pizza (not red gravy for some reason), and blackened fish all get me.

Prilosec works

I remember getting heart burn all the way back in 7th grade on the school bus. I've pretty much had it my entire life and it has only gotten worse over the past three years.
I suffer every time i forget to take my medicine.

You think heartburn is bad? Try having LPR, or laryngopharyngeal reflux. The constant lump in throat, burning sensation in throat, and loss of voice is a bitch. I get it every time I'm loaded with stress. I don't even get normal chest heartburn, just goes straight to throat.
