At what age are you officially old enough to say "back in my day"

At what point in life do you typically come to the realization that things have become dramatically different from what you were used to.

I cant wait to say, you kids don't know what it is to do x, y, or z. When I was younger we had to a, b, and c. If we were lucky we got to d.

if you are in your early 30s you can say that now because you are the last generation to really know life without internet

I'm 31 and make references like that. Things are very different than they were 31 years ago.

I'm 38 and say that all the time. I was the last generation to grow up with out the internet but young enough as an adult to witness the internet/mobile explosion.

I'd say 50,but,that's jmo and isn't worth a whole lot.

I think when you hit 50 you're a survivor and can say stuff like that.

so you can say "back in my day we had to click a mouse button like 4 times to get food delivered"?

and have the kids reply "what's a mouse button?"

Oh yeah? Well they brought one of these into my high school one day.

You young whippersnapper. Notice the cassette tape that was what we had for data storage back then. In the snow, uphill both ways.

Now I'll wait for the geezer who can say he worked with punchcards.

I taught my kids to use that phrase when they were 5.

Good times ensued when old people tried to give them stupid advice.

Only reason I took typing was because I wanted to shag a girl in the class. Learned to type and got laid.
