I honestly don’t understand why anyone would eat at a golden coral in 2024. How do they stay in business there are so many better places you could go

Better be young and in training.
Does this include the "extras" coach made to take back to your room?
(Coach used to make 1/2 dozen PB&J's - where like each was 1/2 jar of PB and 1/2 jar of J - to take with us leaving the cafeteria)
Asking for a friend who got lucky and got "axel grease" sandwiches instead.

Most astonishing is someone admitting to eating at a Golden Corral

I last ate at Golden Corral about a decade ago. I was so disgusted at the amount of morbidly obese people waddling up and down the stations that I came to lose a ton of hope for humanity. The over stacking of various food items on plates during one trip was like observing an experiment from behind a looking glass. I felt ashamed to be there. Cant ever go back.

I have eaten at Golden Corral but too much salt and sugar for my health.
Is Bert still calling the place home?

As a teenager I was about 230 and about 5' 8"
My doctor said I was the healthiest patient he had
My coach said I had a 6' 4" body squashed in a 5' 8" frame
My gf's of the era said I was "big boned"
My friends said I was build like a squat brick sh*thouse
While something like BMI can be a help, not all bodies are alike.
My insurance company said I was "Morbidly Obese" according to my BMI but they were the only one who thought this. Working on a farm and in a deep mine will put some muscle on you in grade school. Not sure kids today would get those kind of jobs but they should.

BMI is flawed and always has been. I guess Arnold was a fatty as well.

Americans are fat and getting fatter by the year. Obesity is an epidemic and eventually something worse than Covid will come around and wipe most the fatties out. It will be their fault for living such a gluttonous and unhealthy lifestyle.

Go stick that chicken leg in the chocolate fondue fountain. In fact stick your whole plate under it and get everything chocolate covered

To be fair, you can go from real fatty to insurance fatty
Not sure what this dudes BMI was along the journey but pretty sure the BMI was always "obese"

I ate at a GC in Bossier City around 2016. Haven’t been back. Someone pissed on the floor in the mens room.

My first job with an actual paper paycheck was bus boy at Golden Corral, I think 15 yrs old. Worked dinner after school a few nights a week and most weekends. Quit after 4-5 months when they wouldn't give me a night off to see Faith No More and Billy Idol
