It can be a good job with good management. Managers have a much harder job to do these days. Besides this generation being a pain in the arse, the guests are really their own worst enemies. Longer ticket times and prices can be directly attributed to the guests.

You only inconvenience them for one schedule. After that, it is like you never existed. Unless they have a really, really shitty staff and barely anyone on the schedule. If this guy enjoys the place that much then he can give it a shot and maybe improve the place. I know the restaurant industry doesn't have a great reputation but people really do believe they are bigger than the restaurant/corporation. It's a laughable idea.

Terrible situation man. Restaurants are drug ridden hell holes, which sucks because it actually is honest work if you enjoy it. If I were you, I'd look for a serving gig some place else.

You are involved in a mini-drama. You get six of these a year for the rest of your life. The difference between a boy and a man is a man doesn't give a frick. Don't give a frick.
For the record man, I made it to about 30 before I realized this. If Man Pimp could talk to Boy Pimp he'd tell him to not give a frick about all the mini-dramas. It's not real life stuff. Don't get further into it, give yourself permission not to give a frick. Especially if it is a redneck loser/white trash mini-drama. Life is too short for that.
