, if you're sitting on cash, you've made nothing.

i just sold all my IOTA fwiw
I've been looking for a couple of small coins and found Iota at $.80, it was probably just over $1 when I decided to get in on it.

My plan was to deposit through Coinbase, buy bitcoin, then use bitcoin to buy Iota and a few others. For some reason, my bank cancels any transactions with Coinbase, something it didn't do in the past, so I had to deposit via my checking account info which apparently takes 7 days.

Of course I see in this past week of waiting on that deposit that it has peaked around $5.50 from what I can tell. Not a big deal as I wasn't going to put in THAT much money, but just a funny story with Iota for me.

Right.

I’m just starting to dip my toes in investing and everything I’ve done so far has been safe traditional stuff. I know that’s not typically how you get loaded in investing but I figured I should start all my long term stuff ASAP.

This stuff here blows my mind. Kudos to those who capitalized on this. I know myself well enough to know I wouldn’t have held on this long.

I like XRP going foward. Won't go as high as bitcoin, but I think some $ can be made in the next few years with it.

XRP/Ripple is doing some pretty cool things.

Same here. The ones I had my eye on were Ripple, Iota as my top 2 then Burst and XLM as well.

My dumbass should have invested in this when I wrote a paper on Bitcoin in college.
I talked in this thread about having some in the past and selling.

Funny thing is I can recall maybe just 2 or so months ago with bitcoin at $5k talking how I missed the boat. Oops.

ive been in and out of BTC plenty baw

i was also in IOTA when it was less than a $1 which i encouraged everyone to invest into; that peaked at $5.50.

a potential 500% increase in two weeks. a safe investor would have made 300% without even timing the highs and lows accurately.

ya checking account deposits take awhile to clear, so hopefully youre in the good now dude.

there are some nice buying opportunities right now with the alts since everyone is leaving them to invest into BTC master race

You've been pretty quiet since you were pretty active during that big crash down to $9k like 10 days ago.

You can absolutely become loaded through “traditional” investing. Just takes more time. Also means it takes more time to disappear

Not exactly a winning defense when it's approaching $16k.
