Why would an alien race with the advanced technology to travel to and from Earth bother helping a bunch of ancient people play with rocks?

retard hasn't answered that one in the last few weeks. I ask it every time. and it sure is convenient that they only came by thousands of years ago, and not today.

Same way you don't walk up to a human infant and immediately hand them Fermat's Last Theorem to solve.

And I'm still torn on what I believe to be true and what I'm not sure about. For example, IIRC, OML truly believes in multi-plane existence and multiverse theory, I don't think I buy into that just yet. But even still, it's completely fascinating stuff to me.

I'm not thoroughly convinced of the multi-verse and the 5th dimension. It completely fascinates me, but I have yet to be given conclusive proof it exists.

NO!! THERE'S frickING NOT!!! And unless you're a twenty year old psych major who just discovered the history channel, then you should be able to tell what is actual science and archeology and what is tabloid bullshite.

I rate the history channel up there with the Kardashians and Dan Brown as some of the most anti-educational bullshite destroying this country.

This is one of the first times I've seen you post as you and not your "character" on here.

And I actually completely agree with what you said. You have people like Heather and Coach Don spouting off things as "facts" and actually believe bullshite like Ancient Aliens is real. As "get off my lawn" as it sounds, I think a lot of young people tend to lean that way instead of the way of logical and critical thinking, and that sucks.

Then why do these assclowns always hypothesize aliens every damn time they find a new rock floating in space?

Most theories revolve around the Earth being used as a mining colony by aliens with human beings performing the physical labor.

Some theories hypothesize multiple alien factions jockeying for control over resources founding the varied advanced civilizations to use them to wage proxy wars against their rivals while the aliens used earth as a staging area for their interstellar campaigns. Most theorists use ancient accounts pf warring gods (especially the hindu gods of the baghivad gita) as examples of humans writing down what they saw and attributing it to divine activity rather than interplanetary, extraterrestrial war.

Basically, the aliens did for ancient humans what Europeans did to the new world during the age of exploration and colonialism.

Because it's a possibility and they can't rule it out. More likely this is a huge strand of comets or a giant planet that has been shattered, but it is possible this could be something like a Dyson Sphere under construction.

Where did I ever espouse anything as "FACT"? I do believe these are unexplained anomalies that may involve aliens, and even gave EXAMPLES of things that are interesting to say the least. I've not one time based anyone else for their "BELIEF" and would hope in the least, our opposing opinions aren't subject to allowing the other to blatantly be disrespectful. How can something unexplained that I believe make you or anyone else so angry? Says more about you than anything.

They have the technology and resources to travel to and from the earth and they are going to rely on humans to do their mining for them?

Which of these theories do you believe?

Which is stupid. Earth isn't really that rich in precious metals and materials compared to other places in the solar system. There are asteroids that have 10 times more platinum than all the Earth does. Anything that would be conductive to an alien craft would be found more on the Moon.

I hold the belief that modern man isn't as intelligent as it likes to believe. Ancient man was able to accomplish more than they're given credit for through techniques simply lost through time. The Roman steam engine is an example of this.

Agreed.

Technologically, we are intelligent as hell. But are we really in this thread discounting shite ancient civilizations descovered, created, built, etc.? I mean, the Greeks are only responsible for some of the most important ideaologies in human history. But yeah, let's go ahead and say that they weren't smart enough to create intricate/complex things without alien assitance..

Not the same. A somewhat better example would be same way we build hives for bees, but even that isn't a good example.

Why would aliens help them build pyramids? did they sit down and draw it out for them? did they collaborate on the tunnels and all for the dead king? did they have weekly production meetings? Who was in charge of safety, the aliens are the Egyptians? Did the aliens beam up the individual blocks to their correct position? Did the aliens provide them with tools and rope to make it possible, then took their tools and ropes back with them?
In what way did the aliens help the Egyptians build these pyramids? were they just nice guys?

Kinda like whites having the technology and making blacks pick cotton you mean. God forbid aliens potentially being somewhat lazy and to good for manual labor too.

If they have traveled light years to get to Earth, you can rest assure they've got technology that can do this far more efficiently than a human ever could, especially one who can't comprehend their technology.

Why is there evidence of Diluted Hydrochloric Acid and Hydrated Zinc in the Great Pyramid?

What the frick were they doing combining these into one chamber?

We don't even have a clue how they build the things, much less all the reasons they are there in the first place.

So what resources do aliens "mine" on Earth?

I haven't seen stockpiles of resources magically disappear.

I said "people like" you and Heather. I didn't say you specifically, although she is spouting off things as "facts' all over the place (in this thread and the one from a week or two ago).

I don't look down on you for your opinions on things like the Antikythera Mechanism, but I do think it's strange that you believe aliens are involved in things like that when there are always completely logical explanations for why they exist.

And you think I'm angry? What the frick?

I made the argument in the other thread that the same logical reason that there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe (that's it is so vast/infinite) is the same reason against taht intelligent life ever having visited Earth.
