How are you an LSU fan in Minnesota?

Do women hit on you for being a cop?

Some pretty wild ones. Funny one for me is chasing a naked guy on the highway. Dude was quick

Just admit, everything you are told to do is tied to revenue generation.

How? So if I play catch or play ball with kids, I’m looking for revenue. Or if I let someone go with a warning?

I lived in Zachary as kid. My family went to LSU. Always been a fan and still go to games when I get a chance with family.

But some do. Mostly when I walk through bars, its more annoying then anything.

Very similar. Dude was quick and smart. Didn’t stay on the road long enough for someone to keep up with a vehicle.

The embellish part. I’ve seen a lot of cops stretch the truth or put more in the report to make it look it better.

What is your take on the story in “my first encounter with an a-hole cop” thread?

That's what I thought. I've been pulled over probably 12 times in my 31 years of driving and have gotten about 5 tickets. I've never run into a "dick" cop. I had a new 1996 Corvette Grand Sport and as I crossed Claiborne Avenue headed towards the river on Broadway I decided to burn rubber across the intersection. What do I see coming out of the cloud behind me as look into my rear view but an NOPD unit. He pulled me over, I explained I had just gotten the car and he understood and let me go. People don't understand that belligerence puts the police on the defensive and doesn't bode well for their outcome.

Why do police officers embellish so severely in police reports?
I've read many police reports and spoken with the accused. I don't find embellishment to be as severe as you suggest.

Is it true 75% of cops are on the take?

A police officer just disagreed with you.

But I hope you're right.

Thanks for your time, GEAUX.

I see people downvoted this comment. That I don't care about, but I just want to say that I am not a cop hating idiot, it was just a joke..

And while I am not a cop hating idiot, I also realize there are bad cops. But I am thankful for those who are not and do what they do.

Never admit guilt

I have gotten out of 2 tickets being honest and admitting I was speeding, but I also roll down all my windows, put my hands on the steering wheel, and I immediately pull over in the most safest area for them to approach my vehicle.

Of course you did. You said "police officers", not "some police officers."
