Well that didn't take long.

matassa is a crooked and corrupt piece of shite that hilariously and fraudulently calls himself a small gov't conservative.

Ascension Parish really fricked up voting this guy in over Clint Cointment.

Hopefully Nakamoto will go ham on him and we can get rid of him.

I know exactly how AP works. I grew up as in it as u could be. I have an immediate family member that had a lot of political influence in AP, maybe the most. I was young and oblivious to it all but I know there was some shady stuff going on

We're going to lose either way so we might as well get Matassa his grand spectacle of public humiliation.

fricking Donaldsonville and Gonzales is pushing Prairieville's and St. Amant's shite in. The mafia is strong over there. I'm tired of it.

Isn't that a Louisiana DOT decision? It's just ineptitude on the state level.

I'm no traffic engineer, and I'm guessing you're not either.

If you think a turn lane on a major hwy, lined with residential subdivisions, two churches, two day cares, and several businesses doesn't help traffic flow, it's just not meeting your opinion. Hell, they upped the speed limit to 55, and most of the day is achievable, maybe even dangerous.

Never the less, listening to the recordings is entertaining and Matassa should be booted, if not worse.

I was being a bit facetious. But it definitely wasn't enough. It'll take u 45m-1:00 to get from airline to Dtown @ 8am

It is but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some influence from AP involved.

Re: new president appointment
quote:

Folks: I have been asked several times what are the procedures underlying replacement of the Parish President should he resign or be forced to do so as a result of the impending investigation by the DA's office.

I found the following language in Section 3-07.A, B and C of the Ascension Parish Home Rule Charter: Section 3-07. Vacancies. A. The office of president shall become vacant upon death, resignation, removal from office in any manner authorized by law, or forfeiture of office. B. A vacancy in the office of president shall be filled by appointment of a person meeting the qualifications for the office by a majority vote of the governing authority. If one (1) year or less of the unexpired term remains when the vacancy occurs, the appointment shall be for the remainder of the term. If the vacancy occurs more than one (1) year prior to the expiration of the term, the appointment shall be until such time as the office is filled by the vote of the qualified electors voting in a special election called by the council for that purpose, which election shall be held according to the timetable and procedures established by state law generally for the filling of vacancies in elected local offices. C. If the governing authority does not make an appointment as required by this section within thirty (30) days after the vacancy occurs, the appointment shall be made by the governor. Hope this helps clear up many of the rumors going around. Doc

I don't know shite, I just know there were a lot of favors being cashed in. And I've seen some "friends of the family" in arrest reports a few times, lol.

Jeez Louise. Looks like all three candidates we're good old boys. Unfortunately the voters picked the worst in my opinion
