The US is now importing oil from Russia, Venezuela, Oman, and other countries that have nothing but great respect for the US. We are cannibalizing ourselves with this idiotic policy and I would not be shocked to see gas hit $6 a gallon by winter.

Swing and a miss.
Gas was at $3.25 in '08 under Bush. Gas was at $2.27 in '16 under Obama. Gas was at $2.25 in 2020 under Trump.
And guess what? None of them had much of anything to do with those prices.
