Discuss.

By the way, if you were a really great pilot, you could kick arse in a BE2c

Fun fact: WWI aircraft engines used Castor oil for lubrication. Pilots had chronic diarrhea from the fumes.

F-15 Eagle - 105/0 win ratio.

I considered the F-22 Raptor, but its potential reliability issues and unnecessary stealth don't overcome the pure, proven dog fighting ability of the F-15.

If only it were available earlier.

I'd struggle between Spad XIII and the Sopwith Camel, based on my 8 year old self's hours and hours of playing The Red Baron PC game from the mid 90s.

Sopwith Camel because that is what the famed World War I flying ace Snoopy flew to battle the bloody Red Baron.

My great grandfather said it was the only plane that he thought was trying to kill him. The torque from the engine was so great that it immediately, violently wanted to roll over from the moment it took off to the moment it landed. No thanks.

It was Australian ground fire that killed the Baron anyway.

Those planes flew much farther than I thought.
