Does anyone utilize artificial plants in their landscaping? Not sure if this is a thing or not.

My wife tried. My dog destroyed them. She’s a good dog

We have some topiary at the front door, it’s a covered porch so no sun or water

My parents used to put artificial plants in their hanging basket planters since those are such a bitch to water.

If they are in the sun, seems they would bleach out pretty quick.

I'm sure they will help hide your lattice trailer skirt.

My aunt has some very realistic fake plants on her front porch in big urns. They were $$$ though, like $200 a piece. It's almost impossible to tell their fake until you touch them.
Her porch is covered from the elements though. Don't know how long they'd last out in the open. Just get some very easy to care for real plants for a bed.

Tried fake ferns in hanging baskets once, they looked good for about a week. Wouldn’t ever do it again

Nope. But we recently picked up three metal sculpture stargazer lilies and have them in front of some banana trees where nothing else will grow because or lack of sunlight in that area. A burst of color in the area is nice.

It’s lazy. I had a neighbor that had artificial plants in their flower bed and they looked tacky. Luckily they sold their house and the new owners planted real flowers
