Since this guy tried to kill someone while committing a serious crime (kidnapping and armed robbery) it will be attempt first.

I wish attempted 1st had the same penalties as 1st. This guy doesn't deserve to ever walk free again.

So this clown was on Facebook thanking his mom for trying to turn him into a man. And thankful for still being alive and for his mom showing up to court dates. 3 HOURS later he goes and does this? Unbelievable

Don't let the hoodie cloud your judgement about this fine gentleman. He was on his way to daily mass when he found himself in circumstances beyond his control.

This. He's getting a break because his gun jammed.

It would be nice if the judge made all the sentences consecutive but I won't hold my breath.

I'm glad thug life doesn't include actually becoming proficient with your firearm. Glad the victim is going to make it.

Concerning medical errors being the third leading cause of death in the US and the linked focused on UTIs and surgical site infections. There is no mention how many comorbidities a patient may have that also have lead to their death. Relatively healthy patients do not die from UTIs and are unlikely to get surgical site infections. Preventable things like morbid obesity, uncontrolled diabetes, and smoking are more likely to get these types of complications and also to die from them. However, the finger will get pointed at healthcare because no one wants to take any responsibility for their own healthcare outcomes. Sign of the times I guess with the attitude of this society that it's always someone else's fault/responsibility for an individual's well being and never their own. It's easier to go ahead and eat that donut, sit on the couch all day, and light one up on your way to pick up some Burger King for lunch. Someone else will take care of you and if you do poorly it will be their fault.

Edit to add that leapfrog website you linked has the hospitals with the worst reputations in my area scoring A's and the two better hospitals scoring C's. I work at all of them so I could care less which hospital gets what score but it just proves to me that those scores mean.

I don't give a shite either way to read that. Someone asked for a link and I gave one.

Ok, how'd they ID him? Tracked him on foot by surveillance cameras to his getaway vehicle?

I think they traced it back to his SUV

They did find his SUV, and it matches the video.. and he fits the images on the video.

Plus, he's on the run..

Any ways more pictures
