Families stay within their desired lanes. The kids all get Intermingled so their daughter
Meets their son, and the economic well being of the daughter is preserved and or the girl the son is dating comes from means.

It’s insanely true though. I know a very well to do connected guy, very old money family but they are Jewish. Said he always wanted to be in Rex but he can’t be. He’s a member of two different parades but not to ones backed by the super old line social clubs

Irony...Dorothy Mae Taylor hurt the very people (young black kids) she claimed to be trying to help. Those kids lost a few parades and free entertainment.
