Kids are in bed (4 & 6) watching one more episode of Batman Beyond then I'm turning it off and they are out for the night.

Both of mine went to bed scared. While they were brushing their teeth, ms Jubba decided to ring some jingle bells and shout “was that Santa clause?” It scared the crap out of my 5 y/o and 3 y/o. They went screaming to the bedroom with toothpaste in their mouth. They are apparently scared to death of Santa, and I had to lay in bed with the 3yo until she fell asleep.

Have any of y’all ever had kids that were afraid of Santa at home? Either way, Santa has come and gone. Gonna be hitting the hay in a few.

Merry Christmas!!!

I only have one left that still believes and she went to be about 25 minutes ago.

I probably have an hour before it's safe to put out stuff though. My two dick head sons are just itching to catch us in the act.

I have no idea. My kids were really excited last year when they heard the bells. They have been excited all day. It just kinda jumped up and got em.

I miss those days you guys are talking about. Mine are pretty much grown up now. You guys enjoy them while they are young and the Christmas magic is still in the air.

Our 8 year old finally went to bed at 11:00. I can’t wait to play with all these toys tomorrow.

Your kid may need to get checked by a professional if he's 9 and hasn't figured out that Santa isn't/can't be real:

Got in from the in-laws around 10. 13 month old foster kid passed out on the way home and went to bed, our 2 yr old wanted to be a PIA and stayed up till 11. Mrs. Clause bought daughter a play kitchen off amazon and it came in a million pieces. Santa almost started drinking at my house. Luckily it only took about 30 minutes.

First real Christmas at our house where Santa comes. Awesome time but much respect for my parents after tonight.

I pulled off Santa til my oldest turned 10. Yes it is possible but you have to know an old guy that looks like Santa and really knows how to do it for it to happen.
