Nope. I don't live in the hood and I pack a loaded pistol. I'm good.

nearly shot to death at my house off Bluebonnet and Perkins

Wow... Hard to believe this happened off of Bluebonnet and Perkins. That's some scary shite. Did they catch the frickers?

Why didn't anyone call the cops when they saw the TPOS group walking around the neighborhood?

One of them used my cc at at a local gas station and surveillance footage was released to the media. The dude's mom turned him in and he rolled on all of them. It was winter so it was already dark and it was raining a bit. They had broken through the perimeter fence dividing the neighborhood from a school and were going back and forth between there. The neighbors said they were hearing knocks on the door and calling each other trying to figure who they were. One of the neighbors worked in law enforcement so she said she would take a look. They hid in my neighbor's garage and so she did not see anything. I pulled up a few minutes later.

wildcat

why did you check the door?

and what would you do if someone were there? Do you bring a bat or handgun to the door?

my advice to you is to pay for a camera. I hear ads about a system you can use to see who is in the yard or at the door. it projects the view from the camera to your cell phone or computer. get one. You need it.

Then, you will be able to check from the comfort of your bed when the fear strikes.

Hopefully the triggerman and everybody involved will be charged with 1st degree attempted murder, 1st degree armed robbery, home invasion, and a plethora of other charges that will result in a mandatory life sentence without parole.

Those frickers deserve to burn in hell.

I live in a retirement community so I am not too worried. This and the Glock by my bed make me sleep pretty peacefully.

Nope. They plead guilty to armed robbery and to avoid a trial they did not pursue attempted murder. It was wet from the rain and I slipped as I was running out of my garage. That is when they opened fire on me. I found the bullets pancaked into the concrete the next day right where I fell. Bad shots or divine intervention but either way they tried to kill me. The one that rolled had charges reduced to possession of stolen items and something else for the credit card use. He is actually a cook at Walk Ons right now if you can believe that. The other three were charged with armed robbery. I know one for sure is still in prison.

I'm glad Walk Ons mandates a background check on their employees. This is absurd. The BR justice system is a joke. Absolute joke. These assholes are dangerous criminals that don't deserve to be living in society. They all received plea bargains and are walking the streets free except one of them? They'll eventually kill someone over some stupid shite, and the DA, once again, will look like a fool.

Hopefully the streets chew them up and spit them out and they get capped.

Unless you are into some dirty bull shite, the chances of someone invading your home while you are their are slim to none.

I thought about asking for my wallet back. It was an expensive gift.

No. I have a 12 gauge and a 9mm under my side of the bed if someone decides to try their luck. I also have a steel reinforced door to my house and my bedroom door has a lock. I sleep very soundly at night.

When I was in college and lived in a shitty neighborhood I was. My apartment was burglarized then. It was a legitimate fear. I don't worry about it now.
