once a month

He literally backed his truck up yesterday and hooked up to put it in front of the street to unload his mower, where he mowed the front lawn then backed it up and unhooked it

it sits there everyday for the most part

It doesn't matter if you flooded or not. The Council suspended a parish wide ordinance.

I believe if it is the n the grass it is.
You can lookup parking regulations for the city of Baton Rouge or East Baton Rouge Parish depending on where you live.

Its annoying and I told some of the other neighbors that I believe its actually illegal and that i would call the landlord to have his tenant remove the trailer
I imagine it's against city rules even if it's not a private subdivision with covenants.

i just contacted my friend who is going to ask his dad. His dad is a lawyer that lives in SD. If anyone would know the law about it and our area, it should be him

not at all!

He has ample room in his driveway and carport to store it. I didnt know other neighbors felt the same way I did. I mentioned that I would look into it.

I don't know what the law is on this in Baton Rouge. It might depend on what its used for and the zoning laws where you are, but if its a few days I wouldn't worry about it. If its something that will be permanent then your friend should call the appropriate office.

Looking at this thread reminded me once again why I'm glad to no longer live in Louisiana.

Just too trashy.

In civilized places, like mine, he wouldn't even be able to park that shite in his driveway.

I wouldnt say SD is uncivilized. They dont force you to have an HOA.

I had mine on the side of my house for years in Southdowns. It was blocked by trees and bushes though. It was also black, so not very visible. When I stopped using it all of the time, I put it in the back yard

Did you ask the guy about it?

I see it move 4 times a month. He keeps lawn equipment in there. He literally attaches the trailer to truck to bring to street for some reason and unloads his mower to mow his yard. Then returns it to his spot to store it.

It's very odd.

Have you asked him to move it into his back yard?
