Oil Field Brahh....I can't worry about the vision and values yet. I still need to add some more lift to my F-250. The truck nuts are looking great though. Hows that for vision

Just my nature. I have always had the motto to conduct myself as if I owned the place. If I'm not entertaining customers, I'm not gonna spend $300 on dinner for myself or rent an Escalade for my travel.

Benefit me how you ask? Keeps my arse employed at my accustomed standard of living.

I hate it also...but over the last 4-5 years I cut back my travel to less than 20 weeks a year. Usually Monday to Thursday.

8-630. I'm happy with it but I'm also new to it and it hasn't worn me down yet. Real estate (not an agent).

Ex wife was a powerful, domineering woman. She made lots of money so I stayed home and kept the house. After she left, I got half and been living off that for awhile. Just got done with some laundry and binge watched Pretty Little Liars. That show is crazy lol

9-5er. Scada Analyst. It's boring at times, but I enjoy it. Wish I worked remotely.

Weird hours. Usually 4a-12p. Could come it at midnight, could cover the evenings. I'm a mgr for a marine transport operation.

Just means I do the same work as everyone else plus supervisory duties.

It's the best job I could think of.

I would say on a 1-10 scale I’m at a 7/8. Shop foreman for an equipment company. Some days suck, but the challenge makes it worth it. It’s a constant change, so it’s never boring.

I work in sales for a shite company. Pay is aight if you hustle. But I'm in the final stages of securing a job close to home. Less pay but quality of life and time with my family will drastically increase. I can't WAIT to go in and tell these MF'ers that I'm out. Gonna be epic.

What is funny is my post on the first page of this...

Very thankful I'm not a 9-5r. Just not for me, very blessed to have a job where I'm full time but still off 4 days a week.

Considering I've now had 9-5 type job for over a year now. Things change, what can I say.

7:30-4:30 working 4 1/2 days a week as a physician/psychiatrist.

Founder and Owner of my private practice and absolutely love my job.

I will never retire. Love it too much. Get to wake up daily and make a significant difference in improving people’s lives.

Best days are the ones where patients come off medication successfully and no longer need my help.

I’d rate by job 8.5. Yes I buy into the company’s values and mission. I work for a hardwood import lumber company. We import lumber primarily from Brazil, Africa and Malaysia. I’m an outside salesman so my schedule is very flexible. Long as my sales are high they could care less what I do. They treat me well, give me 3 weeks of vacation, and I don’t pay a dime to travel. I can take customers out to eat, drink, party, sporting events, etc. One of the things I like about it is you get to compete against other companies doing the same thing and it’s fun to dominate your competitors. It kind of reminds me of playing sports because it’s so competitive. My territory is the US, Mexico and Canada so I don’t see the same stuff day after day. I also really enjoy seeing what our customers build out of our lumber because most of the time it goes into high end architectural projects. I’m home every weekend unless I travel overseas. One thing I particularly like is if my wife gets to bitching too damn much I can bounce. And last but not least they buy me a real nice vehicle to drive every other year.

Rated it an 8.5 because when the downturn on housing and construction happened we all damn near starved to death.
