no they are not. unless you plan to NEVER move the ice chest and NEVER open it. then maybe worth it.

Bunch of poor jealous Yeti haters on this board. They're very good coolers, downside is that they're really heavy. If you want a cooler that will last a lifetime and think you'll use it fairly often, it's worth it. If you're ok with just getting a new one every once in a while, just buy styrofoam.

I use my yeti 45 as an ice mothership. Picked up an 18lb of ice on the way to the camp Thursday around 5 pm and it's still had enough ice to ice down my fish Sunday morning for the ride home. All weekend long I pulled ice out of it for drinks and to add to my beer cooler (20 K2). I got mine for free and it's worth every penny.

One of mine never leaves the back of my truck and the other one never leaves my boat...however I do open and they still work fine.

Have a grizzly and don't use it much. It is huge and hard to lug around for as little as it can actually hold. I can barely get a 12 pack in there with ice. It does hold ice extremely well though.

Just get an Igloo and put a Yeti sticker on it.

All I know is just about everyone who has a Yeti cooler claims to have won it or used gift cards to buy one.

Yeti coolers are the mens version of yoga pants. Using a yeti at a tailgate for a couple hours is like wearing a camelback in the mall in case you get thirsty.

Now that I think about it.....I don't think I know anyone who has bought their own either lol.

My girlfriend bought my Yeti cooler and my mom bought me my Hopper for my birthday.
