For those who don’t know, the entire BR area is about to get hammered. The storm west and north of Lafayette has been severe with quarter sized hail off and on.

No parades scheduled tonight so no one cares about the weather.

Do you want schools cancelled tomorrow?

You won't melt from a little rain, sugar.

I’m sure my dog will wake me up by jumping on me when it hits.

Is anyone tracking the amount of rain/rain days we’ve had over the last 9 months and comparing it to historical stats?

I’m not but I bet the local rivers have been and will let us know when they have had enough of mother nature’s bullshite shenanigans since November.

Does that mean it hasn’t been exceptional?

Sometimes I feel I’m turning into a crazy old man, but it certainly feels different the last couple of years.

Pretty good light show out to the west. Some small rotations out north of Laffy but nothing tornadoy. Not surprised there's a little hail falling places though, this was the "big" risk from the SPC for tonight.
