You know Trump’s dad didn’t die until 1999, right?
Trump was a success in his dad’s business then went solo in about 1978.

Yeah.
Google the Forbes article of you want the numbers are all there.
Trump has is a failure as a business person. Its not really debatable. The reason is he is too lazy to learn business he invested in in the past. Or too dumb. Or both.
He is an excellent conman and liar who excels at stiffing people and suing people though.

Um, he inherited over $200 million. Forbes and others have already run the numbers to show he would be worth a lot more now if he had just put it in the stock market. They have also compared him to his peers of similar worth in the 1980s and 90 something percent have more money than trump does now.
Trump's father did not die until 1999, if he inherited 200 million and turned it into just one billion that was quite a accomplishment considering the level of his personal spending. By 1999 Trump had already been in business for 25 years, and was worth several hundred million. Forbes and the others that made the index fund comparison besides not having the correct timeframe, did not include any withdrawals. Trump was drawing out millions of dollars a year during that time period.

The business was worth about 10 million when Trump took over from his Dad, the $200 million that he inherited from his dad was the value of his Dad's share of the business he had been running for 25 years.

Part of a longer article but an excellent synopsis.
Anyway, I'm moving along. Zero interest in spending time and effort on trump supporters anymore. The consensus on what a shady conman trump is and his failed presidency will be evident to all but his most hardcore irrational zealots soon enough. It's already apparent to most people.
Eta for link.

However, I am unaware of anybody who has taken a serious look at Trump’s business who doesn’t believe that there is a high likelihood of rampant criminality. In Azerbaijan, he did business with a likely money laundererfor Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. In the Republic of Georgia, he partnered with a group that was being investigated for a possible role in the largest known bank-fraud and money-laundering case in history. In Indonesia, his development partner is “knee-deep indirty politics”; there are criminal investigations of his deals in Brazil; the F.B.I. is reportedly looking into his daughter Ivanka’s role in the Trump hotel in Vancouver, for which she worked with a Malaysian family that has admitted to financial fraud. Back home, Donald, Jr., and Ivanka were investigated for financial crimes associated with the Trump hotel in SoHo—an investigation that was halted suspiciously. His Taj Mahal casino received what was then the largest fine in history for money-laundering violations.
Listing all the financial misconduct can be overwhelming and tedious. I have limited myself to some of the deals over the past decade, thus ignoring Trump’s long history of links to New York Mafia figures and other financial irregularities. It has become commonplace to say that enough was known about Trump’s shady business before he was elected; his followers voted for him precisely because they liked that he was someone willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, and they also believe that all rich businesspeople have to do shady things from time to time. In this way of thinking, any new information about his corrupt past has no political salience. Those who hate Trump already think he’s a crook; those who love him don’t care.
I believe this assessment is wrong. Sure, many people have a vague sense of Trump’s shadiness, but once the full details are better known and digested, a fundamentally different narrative about Trump will become commonplace.

I know people personally who have never been paid for construction services for one of his failed devolpments in Florida. This the Spinosa guy in BR.
After Katrina when he wanted to build a hotel in Nola it wasn’t he opt out building here but there was not a firm that wanted to take on the project for him.

“And there's winners, and there's losers
But they ain't no big deal
'Cause the simple man baby pays the thrills,
The bills and the pills that kill”

It's all subjective. One mans winner is another's chump.

I'd say so.
I know some people who have a fair bit of material wealth who I'd call a loser.
I have enough to get by on and enjoy life with a wonderful family. I'd call that winning
Really depends on what you value

You post a link to a story from the mother fricking New Yorker as proof of something?
Why don't you just get the talking points directly from the democrat party?
I love the way bitches just cannot stand it that he is president. I hated obama but I just turned out until it was time for the election to replace him. It is every fricking day with the bitches who can't get over the election.

Yes
I was born under a bad sign. I’ve been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn’t for bad luck, I wouldn’t have no luck at all.

To me winning is finding inner peace and happiness. Losers are those who live life complaining and blaming others for their problems.
So, yes there are winners and losers in life.

Truth
A lot of "successful" people are losers. The only goal is death, it's 100% about the journey.
