Are some people born winners, or can winning be taught?

Are some people born losers, or is it just people making bad decisions?

Winning takes effort but it helps if you have well off parents. When you know that you are ok if you fail at something and still stand to inherit diamonds and gold, then you can say WTF and take chances.

If you are the son of a famous musician or actor, you can work for Walmart and still rake in lots of pussy. It helps to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth .

Some people are certainly born on 2nd base.

The only people I consider losers are drug addicts, people who game the system, thiefs, and folks who don’t support their kids.

Rich kids often have more resources and connections. More likely to be winners.

Of course. Best example of a winner is Donald Trump.

Without losers how could there be winners?

Now go think about what you’ve done with this thread

Everyone lives, everyone dies. Don't worry about others, worry about you want to do before you die.

I suppose many of the biggest “ losers” in life are those who have found meaning doing things that don’t please the herd . That is, they are actually winning , but the herd is too busy looking for other characteristics to notice.

The monks and nuns at my temple who took a vow of poverty are winners. This free climber that lives in his van I know is a winner. Imho , anybody who is true to themselves and seeks a meaningful life is a winner. So it depends on what you value.

If you are referring to emotional intelligence or successful intuition or factors that make people be harmonious in their environment, these are mostly nature rather than nurture, imho. Some people just have it. Others don’t.

Mostly depends on the family you were born into.

Second part is luck.

Third is effort.

Recent large scale study actually showed luck is a bigger factor in wealth for people born into similar socio economic situations. I was surprised by that but that is what the study showed.
