Are there people who are paid to spy on us on Facebook?

A friend of mine posted the following:
Is this real? I had two "spies" with a mutual friend each. Except I could only see who the mutual friend was on one of them. And I was only allowed to block one. Anyone else heard of this and is it true?

People flipped out because they could not block users. The simple fact is Zuckerberg was the first victim of gang-blocking, prompting Facebook to put in algorithms and protection from gang-blocking. That's all this is. Funny though.

I'm not sure it's really spying if someone is looking at something you post on Facebook.
I don't think there is a realistic expectation of privacy on an internet site like FB. If you are worried about someone spying on you, stop voluntarily putting personal information on the internet.

Yes. Do you not understand how Facebook works?
Everything you put on there is open to the public and property of Facebook. All your pictures, posts, etc.. And that info is cataloged and used to prioritize advertising to you and sold to other companies to advertise to you.
They don't need "spies". The fact that you think they need spies makes me think you're stupid. They track everything you do.
Google also does this. So does Apple. If you have an apple phone it logs everything you do. If you are logged into a Google account it tracks everything you do. Your browser tracks everything you do.
Every single thing you do on the internet is tracked by the device you use, the portal you use, the actual site or app you use, etc...
shite if you want to really be freaked out, Google uses the microphone on your phone to record and catalogue everything it hears you say. And I don't mean on phone calls. I mean all the time anytime that phone is in earshot.
People are so fricking stupid today.
