I’ve been usually getting one a night but last night I got 3. It shows up as a text from something like cs-support.billingissueamazn-information002-ll700-8125.8@luntawebappclogn.eu.
They usually say
quote:

Your A?m?az?on Acc?o?unt o?n ho?l?d d?u?e to a bi??l?lin?g is?su?e. U?n?f??o??r??t?u?n?a??t?e?l?y?, W??e? h?a??d? t??o? d?i?s??a?b?l?e? y??o?u?r? A??m????a???z??o??n?? a?c?c??o?u?n?t?. Regards, Ama?z?on Ser?v?ice
I’m sick of playing whackamole blocking these things.

ETA: I don’t know why the frick it did that but I’ll keep it. It was supposed to be broken English message about how my Amazon has a “billing issue” and I need to click a shady link to fix it.

I don't get any. Spam gets stopped by some voodoo magic, Verizon or something else. Not sure.

I got a scam usps text asking me to click a link to reschedule delivery the same day I was expecting a delivery the other day. The address was clearly a scammer but I can’t say my wife would’ve spotted it being so perfectly timed.

I got that today and yesterday.
So you don’t think it’s legit?

I get probably 5-10 per week. The fun part is that I'm on call sometimes for work and I'll get woke up in the middle of the night occasionally by a damn spammer

I'm starting to get a few 'paypal' text scams. It would probably help their cause if they could spell and use correct grammar, and find a way not to include @gmail in the address

I used to get them all the time. I just send them fricked up memes and random gaping a-hole pics from Google. It's slowed down alot since I started fricking with them.

I get some that are selling what appears to be new campers, boats or tractors for about a 1/4 of what they are worth. Brand new John Deere ??. $2,000.00. ??

They are out of control. Semi normal looking texts saying they are amazon and the account was compromised click here to fix it all phishing scheme.

The problem is old timers start screaming at a cloud and call or text them back and then they get put on the global list of dumbasses.

If I were president, I’d form an elite squad of assassins from Delta and SEALS to hunt down and eliminate spammers and scammers. Licensed to kill, bury or burn the bodies, and move on to the next target.

That is too nice for them. Seriously there are some that study people online. (Some people are dumbasses and tell their lifestory online) Then the scammers go to MyLife and everyones public voting record and wa-la...

Then they call pops and tell him his grandson Braxton is in jail in Mexico; and unless pops gives his debit card number... Jaxton & Braxton his friend will be in a mexican jail for life.

I had one lady tell me she heard her grandson saying one word. (They are elaborate) They hack the grandsons voice somehow?

This one I looked up online because I became suspicious at a weird profile offering full price...

If you go sell a turd on market place right now within a minute some weirdo profile will say she agrees with the asking price and because the said living room set is $3000- she needs your snail mail to mail an official check.

The check actually clears. Then you get an email saying the delivery driver that picked up the living room set needs 2 fifty or something. Then up to 2 weeks later the check bounces.

I always just reply with a pic of the big naked black dude. It’s a nice curveball to throw at em, esp the political/roofing texts.
