Asking for my gardener’s assistant.

Seriously, is a Rolex a sign of class, or just an expensive relic of old people?

I have two and haven’t worn a dress watch in years.

People born in 2000 are going to look at wristwatches like folks born in 1980 look at pocket watches.

I went with Cartier for this season’s gifts for top performing executives.

No. You can buy a used one at the pawn shop for 3k if you want to be a poser. Same for all the expensive bags and shoes that women want. Welfare queen can spend her income tax on a $1000 bag because she doesn’t have any bills to pay.

Hard to argue that’s not a beautiful watch

Jesus, this trope is old and worn out.

Anyone who considers a watch a status symbol should eat a bullet. I like my Rolex because it keeps perfect time and is water proof. Function over small-dicked-and-poor-narcissism, I guess.

I assume they are but wouldn't waste money on it. I love spending money. But it's just superficial and I can get a nice looking 200 dollar watch and wear it for years just fine.

If I'm buying something expensive...it's fun or incredibly used(like a Jetski)

You can buy counterfeit Rolexes for 500-600 bucks that require a knowledgeable jeweler to remove the back, and examine the movement to tell it is a fake, so I just assume every one I see is a fake.
