I disagree. The early 90's RX-7, Supra, 300ZX, 3000GT, and NSX were some of the hottest cars these manufacturers made.

One day I will own a pristine 1995 300ZX Turbo.

It's my unicorn.

I have a 91 I'm rebuilding now. Why 95? Is it because non OBD2?

Yes, they are. Seen it on more than a few Toyotas and other Japanese cars like the RX7 (all years).

Have also seen a few Z28s and Mustangs, and quite a lot of the square body Chevy/GMC full size trucks (and a few Fords).

Usually it's cars/trucks

I'd go with a 94 as well if it had good mileage. Mainly due to the fact that the HICAS system went electric in 94 and is much more reliable than the old power-steering based HICAS.

And no 1996 because of OBD2 like you said.

Now, I'm not going to turn down some old lady's garage queen earlier model that's got like 35k miles

ETA: Wish I had kept my 86 Turbo I had in college. Loved that damn car. I had a 85 Non-turbo as well.

The 80s was the AIDs generation for both real AIDs, and for cars

Many people just delete HICAS altogether. But I get keeping it on a purist car.

I had a 93 2+2 that got totaled a few years ago. Had only 50,000 original miles. Young and dumb girl smashed it in the rear while I was sitting at a red light.

If I could find a 90-96 300zx TT I would love to have it done to factory condition. That was my favorite car I ever owned.

I've seen some damn nice low mileage ones on bringatrailer. You'll pay for that low mileage though.

I will be restoring a 95-96 bronco in the next few years. My dad always drove them and his 95 was his favorite truck ever.
