I don't know if one generation is better than the other. I try not to worry about other people. I do know that the current "red pill" trend is about the lamest shite ever.

Someone said it on Reddit and everyone nodded knowingly in spite of the fact that most of them didn't exist at that time and the only things they know about growing up Gen X are pulled from watching lame arse sitcom reruns.

To be "red-pilled" about a topic means that you do not agree with the main media narrative about a certain topic. "Red-pill" proponents are basically stating that masculinity is good. That women are attracted to physically strong, assertive men. That even if they think they want a sensitive type, they do not desire or respect them. They reject traditional marriage as being a bad financial deal for men, because men become more desirable as they age while women essentially plateau around 25 and then slowly decline. The central tennent of "red-pilling" is to constantly improve one's own self worth (i.e. getting healthy) and maintain one's own independence and identity. By being confident, self-assured, and aloof, women pursue you rather than the other way around. Some red-pillers go completely off the deep end preaching becoming completely a-sexual, anti-porn, and no-fap, but the central thesis has tremendous value. Basically, women respect and desire you more when you respect yourself. Respecting yourself means keeping yourself physically, mentally, and financially fit.

It is simply a philosophy that differs from the norm that sees the media and political establishment as being in bed together and jointly pushing a socially destructive agenda that is both harmful to men in general and damaging to society as a whole.

Thanks for explaining. I just figured that it was something to do with the matrix. I think that Millennials have a higher percentage of effeminate men than previously generations but that certainly isn't meant to be a condemnation of the entire generation. I think some of that can be explained by liberal ideology and the takeover of the public education system. Masculinity is frowned upon by most leftists and Millennials have had it drilled into their heads from a fairly young age.
