I blame television. Millennials grew up watching sitcoms from the 90s and early 2000s that depicted the dumb white male being ruled by his wife. If that's where their idea of marriage comes from it's understandable why they would want to avoid marriage life.

i'm not married. I don't even totally disagree with the general ideas i think you're trying to convey. But the way you're doing it is childish and dumb. You come off as a mental midget.

or how about both people in the relationship focus on the other's happiness?

dude thats the point of this theard

Gen X men were taught largely to put their own happiness behind them in favor of making their wives happy.

The redpill movement was birthed from that.

red pill is not a movement. it's a state of "wokeness" that usually isn't very pleasant.

you can be red pilled about politics, relationships, jews, etc.

i agree that r/redpill is pretty lame for the most part.

Solid argument. I've never understood why the couples seem to have so much contempt for each other on King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc. The men are morons & the women are total bitches. It's gross.

How about "happy husband, you aren't in the dustbin."

This isn't a doctoral thesis. If you want to raise the bar then say something insightful.

Calling people childish as an answer to what you see as childish banter, is not taking the intellectual high road.

today that might be largely the situation

but before it became mainstream it had value to men who bought into the "disney" lie of happiness ever after

So maybe the answer lies in a happy medium?

A return to more traditional values and gender norms.

Lord knows that the birthrates of productive members of society are woefully low.

What the heck is red pilled? Why do you have to have slang for everything?

Red pill is fricking lame. When goldennugget is the voice of your movement, do you really think it's worthwhile?

There are some really dumb things that have come out of red pill and MRA. But I think those "movements" developed as a result of what a lot of men were experiencing in relationships, especially marriage. You can't look at the divorce rates and conclude that men and women had a healthy respect and understanding of each other.

Redpill in its current form won't help that. JMO
