I am looking to buy a new mattress and am considering a memory foam this time. I am considering something mid-grade like a Casper. How long before these start to sag, etc?

They’re supposed to never sag, right?

They’re constantly talking people out of buying Casper.

I’m wanting to jump to a memory foam mattress but edge support makes me nervous with the foam.

Get a regular mattress and THEN...

Get a 4” foam topper. Life.... changer!

All I know is that once you get use to one of those solid tempur-pedics they are comfortable as hell.

Also, best dirty style humping mattress there is. awesome. Ha.

I don’t understand this concern. Why would you sleep on the edge of the mattress? Only time edge support comes into play is when I’m sitting down to put on pants or socks, and it’s over in a matter of seconds.

Edge support is negligible

A poster recommended checking out r/mattress on Reddit in a past thread. A lot of information on there.

Nectar is the absolute bed in a box memory foam.

Don’t believe me?

Check out their return policy and warranty,

I actually sleep on the edge of my bed. Like one bad dream movement and off the edge I would go.

My first long term "slept over a lot" gf would seek me in bed for warmth. Each time I would move she would follow. Eventually I would be at the edge. At first I would have to hop over her to get the rest of the bed, so I could sleep. Then eventually just got use to it. Ha.

But I wouldnt think of mattress edge when buying one.

I had an off brand memory foam mattress that had lasted years (10?) before sagging. So, I replaced it with a Leesa mattress. It was sagging within a month. Called them up, they sent over some folks from one of the local shelters to haul it away and refunded my credit card.

Bought a mid-level hybrid mattress and it's crap compared to the memory foam. You can't flip them since the foam is only on one side. Will replace it within the next year.
