We got the medium firmness Tempurpedic and we rotated it twice during moves but other than that it still feels brand new. I can see where a firmer one loses that quicker.

My wife bought a memory foam topper after a weekend at an upscale motel and it's been great.
Keep the old mattress but update the top with a foam topper and high thread count sheets.
You'll sleep like a king.

Well, found the serial downvoter for everyone with a Tempurpedic who is reporting no issues.

I bought the Purple (Hyper Elastic Polymer Grid)
Which version did you get? With the grid it seems like it would sleep very cool.

Got a Tempurpedic that's a good decade old.
Never have really enjoyed the sleep.
Getting a new mattress soon.
However, never has sagged.
Durable.
Heavy as shite.

Two years ago...there was only one version. That's the one I got. We tried out a Sleep Number before settling on the Purple...I froze my arse off on the Sleep Number...I haven't had any issues with temperature on the Purple.
