Trump has said the tariffs were going to cause some short-term suffering from tariffs. Thats the correct party line, not that Trump is wrong and no one will feel any impact or notice any difference due to tariffs.

Considering the decline in shipments received at the Port Of Los Angeles alone is going to be down 35% over the year starting the first of May there is no doubt that there is going to be some shortages of some items in the coming months. Pretending otherwise is counter to what Trump himself has said was going to happen. That number is not made up, it is a simple fact, there are currently 35% fewer ships scheduled to arrive over the next 4 weeks than were scheduled this time last year...this is a known figure. It may get higher, it will not get lower because there simply is not enough time for ships to load and arrive at the port....it is what it is and Trump told us it was going to happen, it would be short lived and we'd all be better off eventually...denying his words is worse than liberals hating the man...

Will it be like the ""winter of severe illness and death"

I am old enough to remember Biden Adm holding ships by the hundreds off the coast and not allowing them to be off loaded because of "covid" media never give a crap. Screwed teh whole supply chain.

Yes in 2 weeks you won't be able to find a single new kazoo anywhere!

Prices for used kazoos will skyrocket

Considering most of this is manufactured and bottled right here in the good ole USA, not sure that is necessary.

But the great TP panic of 2020 didn’t make much sense either.

Trump claimed that Obama was not a citizen and wanted to see the birth certificate. I claim that Trump does not have a degree and I want to see all of his college records including grades to verify that he did indeed graduate. Oh wait a minute, he already took care of that by threatening lawsuits against anyone releasing his grades. Never mind.

Trumps's degree is in economics....

So he knows what he is doing to his citizenry and is still doing it.

Goes to show political (power) economics trumps macro/micro economics.

It made plenty of sense - everytime someone sneezed 8-10 people shite their pants.....

Water is bottled here and toilet paper is manufactured here with machines that are built in China and elsewhere and have parts that must come from the same places. The trucks used to ship them to Wal Mart also have loads of parts that come from somewhere else. It is not going to pass without some pain, Trump himself has said as much numerous times, pretending otherwise is simply insinuating that Trump doesn't know what he is talking about....

The power grid and electrical systems in the cannery and the store and along the route are ALL heavily dependent on imported spare parts to continue functioning. Pretending otherwise is an insult to Donald Trump who has warned us that it is not going to be painless.....pretending otherwise is to suggest he does not know what he is talking about....
