Day cares are god send. Try and keep up with a German Short hair pointer. Quick tip: you can’t.

It’s saved me from destruction.

Easiest job ever. Just stick all the dogs outside and let them play and socialize, feed them twice a day, and collect money.

I only wish I had thought of it first.

My dogs go in their kennels. They don’t mind it. We make sure they get to play though. And one of us is usually home during the day at some point to let them run around.

That’s my point exactly. Dogs got along just fine for many years without going to daycare. Feels more like a way for people to pat themselves on the back. Fine if that’s how they choose to spend their time & money, but I think it’s frivolous.

I lived in NYC and with work and commute was gone 12hrs/day. My middle-aged GSD was fine with just a dog walker but when I got a Cavalier puppy doggie daycare was a godsend. Helped with housetraining and just general happiness of the pups. When I moved out of NYC but still worked long hours in the office I brought my Cavalier to daycare 2-3 times/week. Sometimes more often because I'd take him out to potty in the morning and he'd jump in the car hoping I'd take him to daycare. So much better for them mentally than being stuck in the house alone for hours and hours on end.

Now I work from home so no need but they definitely serve a purpose.

Yep, they go gnaw on their size group all day and by 7 after they eat it’s find the comfy spot and lights out!

I agree, depending on the breed, dogs sleep up to 18 hours a day. I don't think its necessary for them to be entertained all day.

You nailed it dude doggy daycares are about vanity. I just love telling folks about it. Private schools have nothing on us!

I drove out to play Pebble Beach at the beginning of the month and dropped my dog off somewhere bc it’s easier to play golf without a dog

Yeah, I guess could see it being useful when you’re gone that much. But by and large it just seems like many people have become extremely self-righteous concerning their pets these days.

I used one almost every day last year almost while traveling. I couldn't leave her in the hotel room if I wanted housekeeping.

I had a special needs dog for a while that utilized the doggy daycare, we could afford it, it wasn’t an issue. It has since been euthed but it helped him have a more enjoyable life toward the end.

What if you have a pitbull that kills another dog at the daycare. Will they own your house??

Best place in Colorado. I used one while staying in Broomfield for a month while visiting. My dog would would try to jump out the window when we arrived in the morning trying to get in there.

Non shitty pet owners like their dogs to get exercise and not cram them alone inside a dark quiet house all day. Especially dogs with high energy

My wife brought our beagle to the local vet to watch while we took a weekend trip. When we picked her up they told us she was banned and they wouldn't keep her again. She caused to much damage to their pen.
