Are dog daycares really necessary?

I feel like these are for people who don’t have kids, but still think they qualify as parents because they have pets. Change my mind.

My dog can open the refrigerator. so I'm good.

Sister in law drops 2 off daily and picks up after work. Who cares?

Not necessary. But dog owners with only one dog like their dog to be able to play with other dogs. I take and pick one up for one for one of my relatives and I've never seen a dog so excited about arriving to a place. And when arriving home, they say the dog sleeps the remainder of the day. Once a week, twice at most.

I want a social animal but my wife and I both work. Solution is doggie daycares

Who cares? It’s a business model and industry that came up because current generations are having less kids and are spending more money on animals.

I think for apartment dwellers mostly

I bring my dogs to work with me.

My girlfriend sends hers to daycare. Mine lays on the couch and watches Wheel of Fortune.

I had a customer in Denver 20 years ago and his daughter owned a doggie day care.
So its been around for a while.

Better than sticking the thing in the yard all day in 95 degree heat.

It’s currently booming now. Denver was one of the first markets for it though.

3 kids, 2 dogs that go 3 times a week and they love it which makes daddy happy. All good.

I’m curious how much these run per day

Your kids go to doggy daycare?

My wife has two lap dogs, but for some reason both are more attached to me and one, a Morkie, has a pathological attachment to me; he once tore up two window blinds because I was cutting grass outside without him. FYI, I am an avid outdoorsman, deer hunter, and fisherman.
We are retired, but when we worked we left both dogs in our utility room and they did not suffer.

We did it for several years.
It's called not wanting to make your dog stay locked up for 10+ hours. By the time we paid a dog walker it was the same and this way the fella got to be outside more.
Nothing to do with not having kids?
