I had two cats, one was an adoption and the other was a rescue. The rescue died, so we got a pound puppy.
The puppy and cat are both great, and they get along well. They're about the same size, so they wrestle and chase each other around.

Couldn't agree more on both counts. Love fricking women, but after that I'd prefer my peace and solitude. As for cats, there's plenty of Chinese food joints needing a source of cheap meat.

Dogs do dopey shite all the time and give zero fricks about it. If a cat misses a jump the first thing it will do is look around to find out if anybody saw it.

People like dogs b/c for the most part they are stupid and obedient. Cats on the other hand don't conform easily to most humans jaded rules. And if a cat befriends you then you must not be that big of an a-hole (at least to it). Cats are fricking cool!
