Thank you.

Volvo was the least impacted last I heard.

Looking at the car lots, it looks like Chevrolet products are in shorter supply than Ford.

That's probably just dealership level. At the manufacturers level Ford is probably the worse off because its crushed the F series.

Entry level John Deere’s.
But the higher end ones have a lot of microchips.

Doesn’t really matter. If one of them is out of inventory, the other one sells out as an alternative available product.

Chevrolet is pausing production of everything from the Camaro to the Equinox to keep he Silverado line running. And even then, they are shipping them to customers without active fuel management or the auto stop/start.
They sell them on the truck before they get to the dealer. Buyers take delivery on arrival. Demand is higher because their competitors have even worse production problems than they do, and their own deliveries are inconsistent.
Really bad time to be a car buyer. Which was weird because things seemed almost normal in March when I bought my new Toyota truck.

Geri Lynn Nissan in Houma appears to have the most new vehicles on the lot. Inventory on line shows about 225 new vehicles on the lot.

It'll be interesting to see how the market forces work out. Chevy is prioritizing the Silverado line but also prioritizing commercial customers, I think we have 3000ish orders in for the balance of the year. Ford on the other hand is cutting the F series prod, but prioritizing consumer sales.

I’m rooting for Nissan because they make so many cars in Mississippi. But everything they have with a CVT is garbage. I wouldn’t buy one of those unless I absolutely had no other choice.
Their trucks are solid though, even if they are the oldest designs out there.

If I’m Ford, I’m trying to build as many F-150s and Broncos as I can, prioritizing the most popular configurations.

Very smart or lucky. Either way they deserve the sales for that.

i heard the main thing affected on F series was the seat memory option and they elected to just start shipping without that feature. crazy shite.
