Are amusement parks trashy?

At Kentucky Kingdom, 16 and under need a chaperone.
Kings Island in Cincinnati had to close early last Saturday night because of several fights.

My kid’s kindergarten class went to Dollywood last week for their last day of school and it wasn’t as trashy as I expected. You had a few hillbillies that came down off the mountain that had the potential to trash the place up, but overall, it wasn’t that bad.

I don’t remember them being trashy when I was a kid in the 80’s. They probably were, but we were trashy so I didn’t notice.
I guess I’ve gotten soft as I’ve grown older, because I definitely think they’re trashy now.

Haven't been to Dollywood in a couple of years, but it was never trashy when I went, of course, I'm comparing it to Six Flags in Atlanta.
