I have to think both sides read the letter from the Archbishop and think they're on the good side? Or does one side recognize themselves as evil? Which side do you see yourself on?
What a great read this letter to President Trump is from the Archbishop.
quote:
Mr. President,
In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. The children of light constitute the most conspicuous part of humanity, while the children of darkness represent an absolute minority. And yet the former are the object of a sort of discrimination which places them in a situation of moral inferiority with respect to their adversaries, who often hold strategic positions in government, in politics, in the economy and in the media. In an apparently inexplicable way, the good are held hostage by the wicked and by those who help them either out of self-interest or fearfulness.

You've managed to stumble upon the beauty of religion bastardized by earthly man.
A broad, all-inclusive message that can resonate with the entire flock, yet not rock the boat.

The letter leaves no doubt which side is good vs evil if it is read in full.

I agree that the Archbishop feels he and Trump are on the same side. I feel I'm on that same side. But does the other side see it differently and feel they are the children of the light, for whatever reason?

Archbishop Vigano is one of the last few shepherds in the Church that has a spine and speaks the truth. He's the one that helped expose former Cardinal Mccarrick and his homo exploits of seminarians among other pedos.

Humans are both by nature. Every person is both good and evil. No one is perfectly good. No one is completely evil, void of all goodness. We just all have varying degrees at various times.

"Who will emerge triumphant? The forces of evil, or the forces of niceness?"

The problem arises when people either think they are almost completely good or lose the ability to differentiate their predilections.

Very few “know thyself”

Absolutely. I am a bible believing Christian but even when I wasn't I knew there were evil and good in the world. I didn't understand it completely until I saw plenty of true evil and on the same token I saw extreme kindness and love from lots of folks. This really should be a rhetorical question unless you just want the discussion.

It is because I'm curious if the liberal/progressive/socialist sees themselves as the good guy and us as the bad guy? Or do they know they're on the side of evil and don't care?

Nope, good and evil lives in all of us. We make the decision.

Something something my political beliefs are absolute good and the political beliefs I disagree with are absolute evil.
