Why do mexican women on TV speak perfect english without any accent but the second a spanish name comes up they sound like they ate a spoonful of peanut butter?

It's the natural way to pronounce it in their first language.

If I'm reading something in Spanish and I see a number I'll read the number in English.

frick no

New-Ohr-Lens

This is how people who live here say it for the most part. And the only correct answer.

New-Ohr-lee-uhns

This is correct.

All of the options in the OP are wrong.. if you’re from NOLA, you say it as quoted above, you gotta pronounce every syllable.

I never hear people pronounce it that way. That's why her pronunciation stands out.

Well it’s still correct.. it’s gotten diluted over the years, but when i grew up there, that’s how you said it if you didnt want to sound like a tourist.

Southeast LA says Neworluns

One word.

Everyone else tries to be cool with how they say it thinking people down here say it that way.
