not if your vehicle was built in the last 15 years..car makers are notorious for making 'non square' din openings so aftermarket units fit like shite and do weird shite with the voltage on the speakers so you can't drop an aftermarket unit in without ripping out the head unit, amp and speakers and replacing and rewiring all of them.
...then there's the little matter of having to buy special adapters so your steering wheel controls work and god help you if you have a built-in DVD player because you can just toss that shite because no aftermarket unit will talk to it...

Yep - the steering wheel controls are particularly "non-compatible" with aftermarket gear...

It is ridic they change things up in the name of advancement so they can screw you by having to buy new doodad accessories. The original charging port on the iphone was just fine and extremely durable, then they went to that stupid small one. I have been hanging onto my 4 original for various reasons, but this thread cracks me up because a co-worker and I were just pulled into the office manager to pick our iphone 7s and my buddy flipped out when I told him about no audio jack.

The really funny thing is Apple fanboys will eat this shite up. Somehow they will think they are more sophisticated by having to buy $150 headphones.
