What? I understand you not understanding how someone can commit suicide, but how does one not have authority over their own body to do it? Who else would have the authority?

No telling what is going through peoples minds. Had a friend show up late to a business meeting. He looked weird. At the first break he pulled me aside and told me that on the way to the meeting a guy ahead of him at the traffic signal got out in the middle of the intersection and walked over and sat on the curb. He was looking right at him when the guy pulled out a pistol and shot himself in the head. My friend was stuck in the traffic jam and had to give a statement to the police. Kind of fricked him up for a while.

Suicide? I think they're simply ill and not thinking clearly. Meds can do it too. Happened to people I knew.
Almost like certain meds activate your self destruct mode.
Really odd.

such a waste. If they only knew as teenagers how many women are going to frick them over and how many women they will have the opportunity to do the same with, they'd never kill themselves. Wish they could get the concept that its not that big a deal.

this is accurate
if only there was somebody there to tell him that in 5 years he wouldve forgotten that chicks name

We need to take these high school kids to the side and explain that you will go through a lot of chicks before you get married.
When you are really young you need to be with your friends having fun, drinking a few beers your high school teacher tail buys for your, and getting some high school teacher tail.
Don’t worry about those little high school girls and getting into a relationship when you are young!

Yeah, its not that simple though. Not many people can say they were not absolutely devastated at some point in adolescence by a relationship gone sour. Think back at how bad it sucked.
Most people can find ways to cope, but there are the exceptions that think that feeling will never pass. Tough spot to be in.
Im with you though on wanting to plug in to these peoples thoughts and smehow get them to understand its not the end. Sad situation repeated way too often with these kids.

lot of unfunny arse jokes in here about a 19 year old killing himself in front of his high school girlfriend. that's going to be quite the burden for that young girl to carry with her.

It's just like what Alex Jones said. Big pharma is giving us suicide pills.

My kids are that age now. Everything that happens is some life altering event and it's impossible to convince them that they won't GAF about any of this in five years. I feel for this kid's parents.
