Liberal friends in Texas saying the windmills aren’t working because Texas refused to follow government standards and winterize everything
"Winterize" = install heating equipment on the windmills that will have to steal energy produced from the wind. So the colder it gets, the more energy the heating equipment will need.

Texas is one of the leading states in wind generation.

And I'm sure she'd make the same remarks if this happened to a blue state, right?

Right because solar and wind are so effective in an ice storm. Count.
Wind farms can be winterized so they do not freeze up during storms. We just don't do that here

Now explain to us how they "winterize " the wind turbines. What exactly do they do to winterize it?

The comments on that were depressing.
Don't worry. There are plenty of comments that are calling out her stupidity. Twitter just makes it so the most prominent comments are liberal circle jerks.

Snuggies for windmills.

WarEahle21 thinks he can suck farts to improve his health! I mean, it’s health, since he is transitioning.

Ummmmmm.....yea pretty much the exact opposite. Texas has been the state that has embraced "green" energy more than anyone. This is what happens when you do and exactly why we need to be 100% nuclear power.

Same with all our energy infra. The wellheads froze as well as midstream processing plants and pumps. It’s a clusterfrick nose to tail...no one was going to spend the $ to winterize for this rare event.

Honestly, I don't even know how she got the bartending job prior to her current job because she is even too stupid to be a bartender.

Supposedly they were trying to fly helicopters over the turbines to pour some type of alcohol solution to melt the ice.
If only there was a bartender ava ilable to help them pour the alcohol.

didn't the windmills freeze?

She’d be wise to stfu right now.
