I wonder how much of New York is warmed with old fashioned oil and gas? Lets turn off those nasty old pipelines that send gas up there and see how much the wind and solar energy warm them up. Infrastucture failures everywhere in U.S. but it doesn't have anything to do with a green deal. It's simply misallocation of funds. Politicians want to funnel all the money towards areas that give them the most immediate stock gain (payoff and/or power. Nobody furthers themselves in the political arena by making sensible long term choices.
