Blind River Bar was accessible by road and still couldnt make it out there. Prop Stop is what youre referring to. Prop Stop has extremely low overhead and is paid off Im sure, so its prob not hard to make seasonal profits.

The only way would be to make it viable year round and buy the land across the canal (if possible) for parking, and develop a consistent shuttle across the canal to the bar. Lots of liability there and I just dont see people driving out there consistently. I wouldnt do it.

Blind River Bar made it for 50 years as just a dump of a bar before it was sold and rebuilt to be like prop stop.

Naw man. Kathy and Lance are cool AF unless you act like a dickhead out there. Even then, they cut you some slack for being wasted.
Keep your boat wake low till you pass their crib and in front of the PS. Keep your music down when docked. Don’t bring a drink off the boat.
Relax and enjoy. Don’t demand. Go with the flow and enjoy the place for what it is, that rare slice of summer weekend fun time.

Da faq you talkin' about baw? The ONLY thing resembling a road in the whole triangle made up by Smith Bayou, Blind River and the Diversion is the little one that connects the "golf cart" camps to the end of River Highlands and that little trail ends 3 miles from BRB and can only carry golf cart traffic. The "golf cart" camps have to be covered by a fire boat just like BRB and the camps there.

My uncle used to own the Prop Stop. Good times man.
But def made money just being a seasonal bar that only had boat access. Parking is the only issue to me with Sun Buns.

Boopalu’s is For Sale. It’s open year round and at the boat launch off hwy. 22 in Springfield. I would love to see somebody buy that and serve some good food on a regular basis.

I remember having a lot of good times at it’s predecessor, Frogs Breath. The food and service there was pretty spotty before it burnt down but the drinks were good.
